'Mother' is a French-Spanish co-production, a beautiful and melancholic drama with touches of suspense. The film received multiple nominations in Europe, including at the Spanish Goya Awards and the Venice Film Festival. The story is about a mother separated from her son when he was young. Years later, a young man appears in her life, and she can't help but see the similarities to her lost son. It's a contemplative, touching and painful drama to watch and be left desolate. A beautiful example of a European drama, with an intense charge but not too appealing or too sweet. After all, a dense feature that sticks in your head for a long time after the movie ends.
