"Anni da Cane" is an Italian comedy film that tells the story of young Stella, who after being involved in a car accident involving a dog begins to rethink her life. With the help of her best friends, they decide to make a list of things to do before they die. But the emergence of Matteo, a shy young man, could totally change her perspective. The film was highly praised, especially for the performance of the protagonist Aurora Giovinazzo - her character is described as "an awkward, cynical, imaginative and tormented teenager", and the actress captures all the elements excellently. It's a light movie, with comedic touches geared towards a young audience, and reminiscent of other romances like 'Kissing Booth' and 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before'. An optimistic romantic comedy that contemplates life for young people to have fun.
