One of the most beloved children's and young adult sagas is back! 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' is the new adaptation of the acclaimed book series and follows the original publication's story - which shows the everyday life of young Greg Heffley, an awkward boy who wishes to be rich and famous, but first he must learn to survive Elementary School. The first adaptation of the work arrived in cinemas in 2010 with production from 20th Century Fox, having three sequels - all in live-action and also available on Disney+ platform. Now, after the purchase of Fox by Disney, it is Mickey's House that takes over the production, and this new feature film is a digital animation with designs very faithful to the famous 'scribbles' of the original book. It is an excellent production for children, but surely the young adults who followed the saga in childhood will love to feel the nostalgic taste.

Robot Dreams
Sometimes we get so carried away by the marketing power of studios like Disney Pixar, and we overlook other avenues for deep and powerful animated stories that don't need excessively complex plots to evoke emotions. Such is the case with Robot Dreams, a Hispanic-French production directed by Pablo Berger (2012’s Snow White), based on the eponymous graphic novel by Sara Varon. Set in New York during the 80s, the story follows Dog, whose solitary life leads him to buy a robot for companionship. Their friendship grows, but an unfortunate day at the beach forces them to separate and long for the day of their reunion. Virtually without dialogue, with vibrant animation and a captivating visual language, the film tells a simple yet profoundly moving story about (curiously) human relationships and the course they take despite (or because of) accidents, fortuitous circumstances, and uncontrollable events that happen throughout life.
Masha and the Bear: Twice the Fun
