Why watch this film?

Actress Brea Grant takes on the role of director and screenwriter here to deliver a peculiar horror comedy. She used everything she observed in the series she acted in, such as 'Dexter', and put it into practice in '12 Hour Shift'. The movie follows a group consisting of a drugged nurse, her calculating cousin, and organ thieves from the black market committing a robbery at an Arkansas hospital during the 12 hour shift. The production has a good pace, with the entire narrative taking place in less than 90 minutes. As with any acid humor film, many scenes are senseless and the moments of terror draw influence from the 1980s - one of the best phases of the genre.
