Why watch this film?
After creating a predominantly male narrative in the sensitive and powerful 'Greta', filmmaker Armando Praça moves to the feminine in 'Fortaleza Hotel'. With colors reminiscent of Wong Kar-Wai's cinema, the feature film tells the story of two women who are following different paths. One of them (Clebia Sousa) wants to leave life behind, go away from Brazil and find new paths abroad. The other (Yeong-ran Lee) comes to Brazil forced after her husband's death. In this meeting of forces, Praça knows how to put sensitivity into the story and show how two people can find similarity in difference, following only similar paths, emotions and feelings.
