Why watch this film?
Have you ever watched a horror documentary? That is the proposal of the creative and inventive 'Il n'y aura plus de nuit', a film entirely made up of images from military helicopter cameras that fly over Iraq and Afghanistan and execute people considered suspicious from a distance. Without mercy, and with a well-thought-out distance, director Eléonore Weber brings a frightening reflection on existence and the randomness of death - even more so when the US government feels entitled to kill third parties. It is difficult not to leave the movie anguished and thinking about the paths of institutional violence.
