Why watch this film?
Netflix's exclusive action thriller, with all the spirit of 1980s films in the style of 'Die Hard' - i.e. those with increasingly absurd premises, and a hero (or heroine, in this case) skilled enough to overcome any adversity. 'Interceptor' stars Elsa Pataky ('Fast & Furious 8'), playing a lieutenant in charge of a missile interception station at sea, which is attacked by terrorists. It's up to her to stop them from taking full control and causing a catastrophe. The action scenes are good, the acting is decent, and it's just over an hour and a half long, so it's a good pick if you're looking for some entertaining, no-frills fun.

With only minutes on the clock, Collins must utilize her years of tactical training and military expertise to determine who she can trust and stop Kessel and his covert mercenaries from completing their twisted and terrible mission.

Overhaul
When truck racer Roger loses everything, he receives a tempting but dangerous offer: to work as the getaway driver for a gang of thieves.

The Creator
Released at a time when actors' and writers' unions are squarely opposed to the use of artificial intelligence in their workplaces, The Creator seems like a fish out of water, a film released at an inconvenient time. After all, Gareth Edwards' (Godzilla and Rogue One) feature film talks about a time when humans share space with highly advanced artificial intelligence robots. Is it a new Blade Runner? Not quite. As Joshua (John David Washington) grows fond of the small Alphie (Madeleine Yuna Voyles), an extremely advanced robot, Edwards questions whether the robots are exactly like Robocop and Terminator or, on the other hand, like A.I. - Artificial Intelligence. These are good reflections in an excessively long movie but once again show how the director and writer knows how to tell good stories and create impactful worlds.

Spy Kids: Armageddon
A soft reboot of the famous children's action franchise Spy Kids, once again led by the director of the originals, Robert Rodriguez. In Spy Kids: Armageddon, the plot is the classic one: two kids must save their secret agent parents by becoming spies themselves to confront the villain and save the world with the wildest and most extravagant gadgets. Nothing out of this world: it's innocent family entertainment that you'll enjoy if you liked the original films.
