Predator, directed by John McTiernan, is a classic action-adventure film that still holds up today. The movie follows a team of commandos on a mission in a Central American jungle who find themselves hunted by an extraterrestrial warrior. The film is part sci-fi, part horror, and part action, all muscle. The cast, led by Arnold Schwarzenegger, is fantastic and delivers some memorable one-liners. Plot summary
A team of special force ops, led by a tough but fair soldier, Major "Dutch" Schaefer, are ordered to assist CIA man, Colonel Al Dillon, on a rescue mission for potential survivors of a Helicopter downed over remote South American jungle. Not long after they land, Dutch and his team discover that they have been sent in under false pretenses. This deception turns out to be the least of their worries though, when they find themselves being methodically hunted by something not of this world.

The third installment of the successful action saga "Die Hard" is the one most closely related to the story of the first, and builds on everything that was liked in the two previous installments: a tense plot, with plenty of explosions and humor to accompany it. "Die Hard" is a quintessential classic of 1980s cinema and action films, responsible for shaping the taste of many genre fans and putting Bruce Willis on the list of action heroes. The premise is one of the most interesting, which would be recycled in many films afterwards: a New York policeman named John McClane (Willis) goes to visit his wife's company in Los Angeles during the company's Christmas party, which is headquartered at Nakatomi Plaza - in the real world, the headquarters of 20th Century Fox, still under construction at the time. There he finds himself confronted with a group of terrorists (led by Alan Rickman in a great performance), who close the building. Now it is up to the army of one man alone (and barefoot) to face the bandits - which turns into an epic adventure. With great scenes and iconic phrases ("Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker!" entered the lexicon of the seventh art), "Die Hard" is, since 1988, the perfect companion for a nice popcorn for a movie night at home - and, for many, one of the best Christmas movies ever made, although that was never exactly the original goal.

The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux, who serves as the film's fight coordinator.

The Order

With shades of Dan Brown and a script by Jean Claude Van Damme himself, alongside Les Weldon (screenwriter of another action star film, Replicant), the movie is what every fan of the Belgian actor wants: brawling, with a fun plot, and never boring.
