This is one of Bruce Willis' last films before the star was diagnosed with aphasia and announced his retirement from acting. Best known for his roles in action movies, here Willis pays tribute to his career in a feature film full of intrigue, shootings, explosions, and hand-to-hand combat. The rest of the cast is equally star-studded, including John Malkovich, Michael Rooker, Olga Kurylenko, and Lorenzo Antonucci.

Scott Adkins is one of the representatives of current "b-movie" cinema, accumulating several roles in low-budget action and brawling films - and participation in blockbusters such as 'Doctor Strange' and, of course, 'The Expendables 2'. 'Undisputed' is certainly one of the highlights of the actor's career, living a man who is deceived, imprisoned and transformed by life in prison. After leaving as a "new man", he goes in search of revenge against those who put him there. The action scenes have great choreography (and a lot of blood). A pure and simple action movie, to entertain fans of the genre.
Triple Threat
On the surface, 'The Triple Threat' looks like any other action movie, with shootouts and explosions aplenty. However, it also has a touch of martial arts that, while not quite fitting in with the millionaire and mercenary plot, is by far its most notable element. This is due to having an action choreographer as director (Jesse V. Johnson), and three rising stars from martial arts cinema: Thai Tony Jaa, Indonesian Iko Uwais, and Chinese Tiger Chen. It's not an essential classic of action cinema, but it is very well executed in terms of hand-to-hand combat.
Debt Collectors
After achieving surprising results from both audiences and critics with 'The Debt Collector', filmmaker and stuntman Jesse V. Johnson returns behind the camera with the sequel 'The Debt Collector 2'. The protagonists Scott Adkins ('Doctor Strange') and Louis Mandylor ('My Big Fat Greek Wedding') reprise their roles and dive back into the underworld of debt collectors - a type of professional, curiously, rarely portrayed in cinemas. The story doesn't have great moments, nor is the production really impressive. However, Johnson's knowledge as a stuntman ends up giving texture to the action scenes - just like it was in 'Rescue' with Chris Hemsworth - and causing an interesting impact on the audience that seeks ruthless beatings, with fewer cuts in fight scenes and with things straight to the point. It's one of those movies to watch and have fun unpretentiously.
Savage Dog
Ok, the plot isn't anything elaborate and it's as cliché as its dialogues and characters. However, for action movie fans, 'Savage Dog' is the kind of movie that emphasizes the impact of its action and fight sequences, rather than narrative complexity. If that's what you're looking for, or if you're a fan of Scott Adkins' career as a stuntman and action star, there are few productions with a better display of his skills than this one.

Jean-Claude Van Damme makes his starring debut in the descriptively titled Bloodsport. An American soldier at large in Hong Kong, Van Damme becomes involved in the Kumite, a highly illegal kickboxing competition. Whoever survives the bout will be crowned Kumite champion of the world…a title that has plenty of challengers with homicide in their hearts. The finale offers a duel to the death between Van Damme and reigning Kumite king Bolo Yeung. The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux, who serves as the film's fight coordinator.

The Order
In The Order, Van Damme plays a man accused of murder who seeks a sacred scripture in Jerusalem before it falls into the wrong hands, jeopardizing his freedom. With shades of Dan Brown and a script by Jean Claude Van Damme himself, alongside Les Weldon (screenwriter of another action star film, Replicant), the movie is what every fan of the Belgian actor wants: brawling, with a fun plot, and never boring.
