Why watch this film?

Premiering in the direction of Alex Pritiz, who does an excellent job showing the struggle of the Uru-eu-wau-wau people against the deforestation of the Brazilian Amazon, 'The Territory' made its debut at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. Despite the director being foreign, the documentary has Uru-eu-wau-wau coproduction, a differential in films that bring this theme. Very well filmed by Pritiz and the indigenous people who helped with the production, the feature is intriguing and brings a relevant debate about the problems faced in the Amazon. The negative points are due to the slow pace and soundtrack, but still, it is a good documentary.
