Unlike some films that seek to show the glamour of the nightlife - full of drugs, sex and parties - 'She's Just a Shadow' brings another reading of it. The movie shows a group of friends dealing with the negative effects of it, plunging into the dark, sad and violent side of this world. The production is a bit confusing, which gives the interpretation of how the mind of an unbalanced person would work and ends up using escape valves, such as drugs, sex and other things. The cast does a good job of bringing these characters to life, most of them acting as "shadows", so much so that this is the title of the film. 'She's Just a Shadow' is full of blood, excessive drug use and lots of nudity. Basically, a combination of 'Scarface', 'Show Girls' and 'Spun: No Limits'. Despite this, the film manages to develop an interesting story in this context.
