Why watch this film?

A story about a bank robbery with hostages might recall the classic Dog Day Afternoon with Al Pacino. However, the plot of Breaking exposes the economic and social hardship endured by many US military veterans, making it more closely resemble the original Rambo. This movie—also known by its title 892—is based on the true story of Brian Brown-Easley (John Boyega from Star Wars: The Force Awakens), a US Navy veteran who, with no options due to lack of support from the Department of Veterans Affairs, is forced to enter a bank and take hostages in order to call attention. Director Abi Damaris Corbin delivers with Quiebre a film that, despite some pacing issues, manages to maintain tension, and Boyega is simply marvelous in the lead role.
