Why watch this film?
A direct sequel to 'Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan', it does not quite have the same shine. Directed by Leonard Nimoy himself, the movie deals with the search for Spock's "Katra" and body, delving into Vulcan culture and questions about life, death, and soul. Although in the background, Klingons, who were the main antagonists of the classic series, are the villains in this story for the first time. It is not the most beloved film among Trekkies, but it certainly keeps the flame of the franchise alive.

Admiral Kirk's defeat of Khan and the creation of the Genesis planet are empty victories. Spock is dead and McCoy is inexplicably being driven insane. Then a surprise visit from Sarek, Spock's father, provides a startling revelation: McCoy is harboring Spock's living essence. With one friend alive and one not, but both in pain, Kirk attempts to help his friends by stealing the U.S.S. Enterprise and defying Starfleet's Genesis planet quarantine. But the Klingons have also learned of Genesis and race to meet Kirk in a deadly rendezvous.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
This is one of the most surprising movies from the Star Trek saga: the crew of the Enterprise, aboard a Klingon Bird of Prey, travels to 1980s San Francisco to rescue a humpback whale and save the future. An ecological and fun adventure, considered by many fans as one of the best (if not the best) movie of the franchise. A movie that can be watched alone or right after Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, working as a perfect trilogy.

Three Men and a Baby
Directed by Leonard Nimoy (most famously known as Spock in 'Star Trek') and starring Tom Selleck ('Magnum'), this is an 80s classic! 'Three Men and a Baby' is funny, with a creative script and great performances from the cast, aside from Selleck there's Steve Guttenberg ('Cocoon') and Ted Danson ('A Path to Renewal'). It's hard not to laugh with this trio!
Sci-Fi & Fantasy

Alien Nights
Rio Branco, Acre, an Amazon city near the border with Peru and Bolivia, has been suffering the violent impacts of recent changes in trafficking routes, which have arrived with violence in the Brazilian Amazon. In this scenario, the lives of three young childhood friends intertwine and ultimately, they find themselves in a common tragedy.

Crater
A thrilling Disney+ production, with a surprisingly dystopian backdrop, for young adventurers. In Crater, we follow a boy (Isaiah Russell-Bailey) who has lived his whole life in a lunar mining colony, where the inhabitants work with the promise of being relocated to another planet after years of work. But when his father dies in an accident, he is chosen for relocation on a 75-year journey. To say goodbye to his friends, he decides to bring them together for his father's last task: to travel to a mysterious crater on the moon. Aided by a girl who grew up on Earth (Mckenna Grace from Ghostbusters: Beyond, in the best performance of the movie), the group embarks on a fun - and dangerous - adventure across the moon. It's a science fiction and road movie proposal with certain doses of melancholy and darkness, speaking to the young generation of Greta Thunberg who fight to imagine a better tomorrow.
