Why watch this film?
"Sicario: Day of the Soldado" was one of the most interesting (and we can say surprising) action thrillers of 2015. In this sequel, both Josh Brolin ("Avengers: Infinity War") and Benicio Del Toro ("Guardians of the Galaxy") are back, as well as the screenplay writer Taylor Sheridan. The change happens in the direction: Dennis Villeneuve leaves and Stefano Sollima (from "Gomorra" series) takes his place. Even though "Day of the Soldado" lacks the subversive and vibrant side of the first movie, it still manages to bring us a dynamic plot that holds us from the beginning to the end.

However, despite the success of his books, Clancy's name ended up gaining even more strength in the movies, with adaptations that immortalized his stories on the big screen. Now, after 'Jack Ryan' and 'The Hunt for Red October', it's time for the story 'Without Remorse' to hit the screens under the baton of director Stefano Sollima (from the surprising 'Sicario: Day of the Soldier'). In the plot, starring Michael B. Jordan ('Black Panther'), we follow the story of an elite Navy officer who wants to take revenge on Russian soldiers in the best 'John Wick' style - only that, instead of killing his dog, the target was the American's wife. A typical spy movie, but Sollima manages to give it a more dizzying pace of action in its execution. Highlight for Jordan, who is able to transition well between emotions and action at the skin.

Whoever survives the bout will be crowned Kumite champion of the world…a title that has plenty of challengers with homicide in their hearts. The finale offers a duel to the death between Van Damme and reigning Kumite king Bolo Yeung. The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux, who serves as the film's fight coordinator.
