Through the direction of Steven Caple Jr., known for his work on Creed II, the film brings a refreshing approach to the franchise, distancing itself from the sexist and stereotyped elements present in Michael Bay's previous films. With a simple and direct narrative, the production dives into the mythology of Transformers and manages to deliver a genuine adventure, without sacrificing its well-developed characters, Black and Latin representation, and great "giant robot fights". Positive highlight for Anthony Ramos's (In the Heights, Hamilton) performance as Noah and the young Dean Scott Vazquez as Noah's brother, Kris.
