Even if its production values are somewhat modest, ANYA is diverse in its cast, as well as ambitious thematically. The movie tackles one of the most controversial and often overlooked topics of our time: eugenics, that is, intervention in human genetics for the perfection of humanity, a field mined from ethics and morality. Although the film's plot presents a very radical case, the directors and screenwriters consulted with specialists from Harvard and Carnegie Mellon University to anchor the story in scientific facts. This is a proposal that might interest you if you are looking for a family drama with touches of well-grounded science fiction.
