Why watch this film?

Although he is responsible for titles such as 'Marriage Story' and 'The Squid and the Whale', filmmaker Noah Baumbach fell into popular taste due to the delicious dramedy 'Frances Ha'. Starring his wife, the great actress and director Greta Gerwig (who would go on to direct the excellent 'Lady Bird' and 'Little Women'), the production hits the mark by emulating the atmosphere of French cinema from the 1970s when talking about this misfit character, always in shock with her reality. The option to put the whole movie in black and white enhances this proximity of the film to cinemas of other times, further enhancing Baumbach's excellent work as a director. To watch, review and fall in love with the protagonist's misfortunes.
