Raw Deal is an absolute classic of '80s action cinema, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in one of the roles that cemented his image as a genre star. In the story, he plays a former FBI agent who, now a small-town sheriff, is recruited again to infiltrate the Chicago mob and avenge the death of an FBI boss's son. The film delivers everything action fans expect: intense shootouts, a tense atmosphere, explosive moments, and, of course, Schwarzenegger's unbeatable charisma. For those who love true '80s action, Raw Deal is a must-see.
Action, muscle and a good dose of adrenaline. The return of The Expendables is the return of Sylvester Stallone to his best years after playing the legendary Rocky Balboa. Stallone leads the cast, mostly composed of muscular men from the 80s and 90s, among which stand out Jean-Claude Van Damme (Universal Soldier), Chuck Norris (Walker, Texas Ranger) and... Arnold Schwarzenegger (Terminator). We also have the new generation of warriors led by Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games). A movie with lots of testosterone, rude, violent and brave. The Expendables 2 will not disappoint fans of high voltage action full of big stars.
If it wasn't already clear from the two previous installments of the trilogy, 'The Expendables 3' is the kind of movie that embraces its premise of bringing together 80s action movie legends like Sylvester Stallone ('Rambo'), Mel Gibson ('Mad Max') and Dolph Lundgren ('He-Man') in a plot seasoned with nostalgic self-referential winks. The formula may seem a bit worn out for this occasion, but fans of high-caliber action films will find exactly what they're looking for here, with the participation of new actors such as the great Harrison Ford ('Star Wars'), Antonio Banderas ('Once Upon a Time in Mexico') and legendary UFC fighter Ronda Rousey.
I would dare to say that 'Escape Plan' was the best movie of Sylvester Stallone since 'Rocky Balboa' in 2006. After all, there are several elements of this amazing action long. Firstly, the excellent premise of an escape specialist who is placed in a maximum security prison to prevent secrets from other prisons from leaking out. Then, the warlike atmosphere that promises to explode at any moment. And finally, the great performance of the Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger duo, which must leave any fan of the 1980s cinema absolutely fascinated. Even though the ending is a bit exaggerated, given what the movie had presented up to then, it's hard not to have fun with the production.
