Christos works as a porter and in his free time he plays bouzouki. One day, his wealthy neighbor, Vasilis Hatzipetros, denounces him to the police because, as he says, he is bothering him with his bouzouki. Hatzipetro's daughter, however, falls in love with the young man, and when Christos is famous for his music, the road to the happiness of the two youngsters seems wide open. A new hit of fate is then testing their love.
