Why watch the movie Homemade?
"Cinematographers around the world are showing their perspectives on social isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic. Curated by Chilean director Pablo Larraín (‘Jackie’, ‘No’, and ‘The Club’), and his brother Juan de Dios Larraín, we follow 17 shorts with different views on this difficult period. Big names in cinema such as Paolo Sorrentino, Sebastián Lelio, Ladj Ly, Kristen Stewart, and Maggie Gyllenhaal are participating in the project. It's amazing to see how creativity can still stand out even if it's done from home or just showing their unhappy children with the new routine. It's an interesting idea from Netflix, which divided each short into an episode like a series; and from the Larraín brothers, showing that to make a movie you don't need big locations or even leave your residence."
