Why watch the movie Sing Street?
"Alongside the Russian 'Summer', the Irish 'Sing Street' is one of the most interesting, original and real when it comes to young people creating rock bands. With a powerful eighties aura well coordinated by filmmaker John Carney ('Once' and 'Begin Again'), the movie knows how to take the climate and the desire to be successful with music beyond the circle of friends with guitars. It passes truth on the journey of the teenage musician and clarifies some of the myths at the base of musical formation. Without a doubt, it should please those honest productions that deal with the journey of glamorous means and alternative films about music. Highlight for the performance of Ferdia Walsh-Peelo (from the series 'Vikings')."
