Having settled evil in herself, enslaved by greed, in addition to envy and hatred as she is seduced by her lover Hamed, the girl Afaf is pushed to betray her father who works as cashier in Adham's department, by stealing money under his custody. The father dies in grief cursing her. Her brother who succeeds him in managing the department tries to correct her, but she rebels. She takes advantage of the goodness of Huriyyah, Adham's daughter. She also cast her charm on Adham who marries her. She treats Huriyyah harshly and plots against her such that her father denies Muhsen from entering the house. Hamed blackmails her by the love letters he had with her. She goes to his apartment to pay him to find him with another mistress so she kills her. Afaf confesses to Adham about her deception. Muhsen then marries Huriyyah.
