Supernova

"Bartosz Kruhlik's debut feature film gained much recognition in the Eastern European awards and festivals circuit, with a modest production budget used to tell a minimalistic, yet powerful story. 'Supernova' tells the story of a woman, her children and her alcoholic husband, whose lives become intertwined with those of a politician and a police officer in front of multiple witnesses. Thus, the movie portrays human nature and how decisions can be influenced by pain, anger, ambition and even alcohol, raising questions about duty, love, power and corruption."
