Why watch the movie Sound of falling?
"Even before the lineup for the 78th Cannes Film Festival was officially announced, there was already a strong buzz surrounding Sound of Falling, the second feature by German director Mascha Schilinski and her first to compete. That anticipation was confirmed with its official screening on Wednesday, the 14th. By weaving together the stories of four girls living on a farm in northern Germany across different time periods, the director crafts a layered tapestry of memory, trauma, and the challenges and nuances of the female experience. It’s a striking piece of work—especially considering that her debut feature was made while she was still in film school. Check out our full review."
