"Alcatraz Prison, already inactive for some time, is one of those aberrations that could only serve the prison system. After all, the prison had the objective of totally isolating criminals from society, in the middle of the sea, and without any risks of escape. However, during its active time, only a few men managed to escape. This was the case of Frank Morris, brilliantly portrayed by Clint Eastwood in 'Escape from Alcatraz'. Resourceful, he managed to plan an entire escape from this unusual prison. Here, under the care of director Don Siegel (from the excellent 'Dirty Harry'), we are invited to understand better this escape process and how it all happened in the shadows, far from any surveillance.
