Meet Clark Kent. Sent to Earth as an infant from the dying planet Krypton, he arrived with as many questions as the number of light-years he traveled. Now a young man, he makes his living in Metropolis as an intern at the Daily Planet – alongside reporter Lois Lane – while secretly wielding his alien powers of flight, super-strength and x-ray vision in the battle for good. Follow the fledgling hero as he engages in bloody battles with intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo and before fighting for his life with the alien Parasite. The world will learn about Superman…but first, Superman must save the world!
"After wrapping up its cohesive animation universe with 'Justice League Dark: Apokolips War', DC goes back to its roots with 'Superman: Man of Tomorrow'. The animated feature brings an original story with the origin of the Man of Steel, his first adventures and his alter-ego, the meek reporter Clark Kent, meeting Lois Lane and joining the Daily Planet newsroom. Even though it's a plot we've seen dozens of times in comics or other media adaptations, the movie manages to be engaging for both traditional fans and newcomers who know little about the traditional hero. Also, forget the exaggerations of the most recent live-action version by director Zack Snyder. We have a Superman close to his essence, in a script that cares more about fun than bringing great messages. All this with a more current appeal. For those who want to watch dubbed, bad news: due to the restrictions of the covid-19 pandemic, Warner Bros. decided to dub the feature outside Brazil, depriving us of the already traditional voices of the DC heroes in our country. Meanwhile, in the original language, the production features a cast formed by Darren Criss (from 'Glee'), Alexandra Daddario (from the Percy Jackson saga) and Zachary Quinto ('Star Trek')."
