"The Penguin Lessons is a drama-comedy starring Steve Coogan, based on the memoirs of British author Tom Mitchell, published in 2015. The film and book tell the story of his experiences when he traveled to Argentina in the 1970s, during which he saved a penguin from dying in Uruguay and took it home, something that forever changed his lessons and his relationship with his students, at a time of turbulence for the country. The film presents a sweet and tender story with excellent performances from the cast, although it is worth noting that it avoids some of the more painful aspects of the country’s history. Ideal if you're looking for something heartfelt."
