Socorro, obsessed with finding her brother's killer from 1968's Tlatelolco massacre, receives a clue and risks everything, straining family ties, to avenge his death by locating the former soldier.

"We Shall not Be Moves (No nos moverán) is a Mexican film, awarded at the Guadalajara Film Festival, that joins the cinematic canon about the Tlatelolco Massacre on October 2, 1968. It does so through fiction: the plot follows a questionable lawyer (the sensational Luisa Huertas), who has carried the anger and guilt for years over her brother, who was taken by the armed forces on that terrible night. One day, she finally receives the missing piece of the puzzle to find the responsible party, and so she begins to devise a plan for revenge. This is a Mexican neo-noir with elements of surrealism and absurd comedy that speaks to one of our deepest collective wounds."
