Why watch the movie The Life of Chuck?
"The Life of Chuck is a film that will do one of two things for you: either give you existential anxiety or cure it with a powerful affirmation of life. Directed by Mike Flanagan, based on a short story by Stephen King, the film begins during the imminent end of the universe, which mysteriously coincides with the death of a man named Chuck (Tom Hiddleston). If you’re unfamiliar with the short story, it’s best not to spoil the surprises of what’s happening. Suffice it to say that the excellent cast, featuring names like Mark Hamill, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, and Jacob Tremblay, deliver a moving story that strikes at the heart of the human experience, the life force, and the fear of confronting death. An experience that, despite some pacing and script flaws, will reconnect you with the richness of life, one way or another."
