Why watch the movie In Sudden Darkness?
"A funny short film with not much of a story, but captivating due to its characters. After all, taking advantage of the real-life story of a power outage across much of the United States, director Tayler Montague builds a sensitive and delicate portrait of a simple family trying to deal with this moment without electricity, needing to further unite their bonds. It lacks a bit of power and care with the narrative, but it's hard not to smile at the final scene and, who knows, identify with the domestic drama of those characters that exude truth."
