Why watch the movie Land?
"Selected at the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival, 'Land: Tierra de nadie' is a drama that puts forward a crucial question about contemporary American narrative: What does it mean to serve and die for a country that has only marginalized certain communities and ethnic groups for centuries? Even if somewhat clumsily acted, it is a truly unique re-invention of the Western - the most mythified American film genre - that seriously reflects on the multiple identities that coexist within what has been called for centuries the "land of freedom"."
