Mystery Inc. battles a villain who wants to take over Coolsville with monster mayhem
Trailer
Why watch the movie Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed?
"The first live-action adaptation of 'Scooby-Doo' had the charm of seeing its protagonists in person for the first time as an ace up its sleeve, which in some way made up for its deficiencies as films. In the face of criticism, the only argument to justify a sequel was purely commercial. And indeed. 'Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed' shares the uncomfortable identity crisis of its predecessor, like an animated cartoon that tries to be a realistic looking teenage comedy. For the stubborn fans, the appeal is in seeing the villains of the classic franchise come back to life, but beyond that and a more visually accomplished Scooby, there is little content for non-fans."
