Picking up from the explosive cliffhanger of the sixth episode of the miniseries, the film follows the harrowing coup attempt night of July 15th, and the Police Special Operations and Special Forces heroes who put everything on the line to prevent a cultist takeover of Turkey.
"Turkey has a cinema known for its intense dramas full of emotion. However, they also make action movies, such as 'Börü'. Directed by the debuting duo Can Emre and Cem Ozuduru, the film follows the story of a squad that must defend Turkey's sovereignty - in a story that is a direct continuation of the Netflix miniseries of the same name. A mix of 'Operation Border' with 'The Big Hero', the feature film dives into this warlike universe, full of confrontations and conflicts, which should make war story fans have fun. Of course, it is not as well produced as an American action movie, for example. But it is a good opportunity for the viewer to get out of the obvious and thus find new possibilities in this so rigid genre."
