A deaf and mute writer who retreated into the woods to live a solitary life must fight for her life in silence when a masked killer appears at her window.
"Reinventing the slasher movie genre, such as 'Panic' and 'Halloween', the feature film 'Hush' breaks one of the main points of suspense and horror movies: sound. After all, this Netflix exclusive tells the story of a deaf woman who must defend herself against a killer trying to kill her in her own home. Although director Mike Flanagan (of 'Doctor Sleep' and 'The Haunting of Hill House') resorts to some formulas and banalities of the genre, 'Hush' hit the mark by creating tension and changing some slasher movie paradigms. Good for having fun and taking some unexpected scares."
