Beyond the Vows

"'Beyond the Vows' is a movie about marriage. However, as the title itself suggests, nothing of the restricted look only at the time of the "yes". Here, in this feature film directed and written by Joan Montreuil ('Closer to Home'), the viewer is placed at the heart of the story of a marriage that begins to crumble little by little. Thus, Joan brings very unique and intimate looks at life together. The format in which the story is told is somewhat banal and some things are not told in the right way - the movie, after all, exaggerates a lot in duration, with more than two hours in total. But the idea is good and the reflections that Joan brings to the public are effective. Just understand the idea and put it in your own perspective."
