The canine star of a fictional sci-fi/action show that believes his powers are real embarks on a cross country trek to save his co-star from a threat he believes is just as real.
"Any movie with and about dogs, no matter how banal it may be, stirs up emotions in us. This is the case with 'Marley & Me', 'My Dog Enzo' and, of course, the tear-jerking 'Always by Your Side'. With this Disney animation it's no different. Even though it doesn't have the emotional strength of those other three mentioned, this feature film has a lovable canine character. After all, he believes he has superpowers and, with this idea in mind, goes out to save the oppressed. It's hard not to get involved in the story and also to feel a taste for the canine character's journey. It's not a spectacular or genius movie. However, it's a good Disney pastime that knows how to make people laugh like no one else."
