A woman with terminal cancer decides to keep a notebook full of musings on life and love for her toddler son to read after she dies.

"From those tear-jerking dramas, sometimes too emotional, 'El Cuaderno de Tomy' is a movie made to cry. After all, this Argentine production tells the story of a mother with terminal cancer who decides to keep a notebook full of memories, reflections and feelings during her treatment so that her son, in the future, can read them and have some connection with her - something similar to '18 Presents' and 'My Life' with Michael Keaton. Although director and screenwriter Carlos Sorin ('The Dog') weighs heavily on the drama in some moments, 'El Cuaderno de Tomy' manages to rescue the sensitivity of the story in some tender, really delicate moments, mainly due to the committed cast. A movie primarily to cry and shed some tears, with a good story."
