It is relevant to mention that this is Carnahan's debut as a director and he showed an interesting perspective, largely due to his experience in screenwriting. Matthew Michael Carnahan worked on 'Deepwater Horizon: Gulf Disaster', 'State of Play', 'No Escape', among others and is also the screenwriter of 'Mosul'. The film follows the story of rookie Iraqi policeman Kawa (Adam Bessa) who is rescued from a crazy shootout by the elite SWAT team and is recruited by the squad, which is not the most honest and play by their own rules. The feature has great action sequences and a good story. The only flaw is in the character development, since only a few gain depth."
