Why watch the movie The Kid Detective?
"Stories about kid detectives are always funny and witty, with mysteries involving the neighborhood, school, and other mundane matters. But what happens to the kid detective when he grows up? That's exactly what debut director and screenwriter Evan Morgan explores in 'The Kid Detective'. Here, in a mix of mystery and humor, we follow the story of a once-famous child detective who, now at 32 years old, still solves the same trivial mysteries between hangovers and bouts of self-pity. Until his first "adult" case comes along. The highlight is Adam Brody from 'The O.C.', who once again shows an unexpected and amusing comedic vein."
