The Glorias

"The journalist Gloria Steinem is an icon. She is recognized worldwide for her fight for women's rights. 'The Glorias' is a biography about this amazing woman made in a very intriguing way. Directed by Julie Taymor, we follow Steinem's story from the point of view of other women who had their lives transformed. With a well-crafted script, impactful scenes, creative montages and well-thought-out sequences - even more so in terms of biographical productions - this is a beautiful example that certain narratives can be serious and innovative, especially when it is about an important theme. In addition to the story, the movie cast is also powerful, featuring Alicia Vikander, Janelle Monáe, Julianne Moore, Bette Midler, Timothy Hutton, Lorraine Toussaint and Kimberly Guerrero."
