All My Friends Are Dead

"You could say that rookie director Jan Belcl aimed at Quentin Tarantino's cinema, but hit a teenage slasher mixed with a comedy of errors. After all, 'Wszyscy moi przyjaciele nie zyja' tells the story of a teenage party in Poland that ends in tragedy, with almost all the participants dead. Belcl goes to the pot to tell this story, with somewhat absurd pretensions - Tarantino's influence is frequent on the screen. The main affected in this scenario are the characters, who gradually become caricatures of themselves. It is the religious boy who discovers sex, are the women who seem to be out of control nymphomaniacs, the "good vibes" girl and so on. They are characters with good initial ideas, but which end up getting lost in totally artificial clichés. However, this is not bad. If you forget the filmmaker's pretensions, you find a fun movie that brings very witty ideas."
