"Have you ever stopped to think about how funerals are made? This is a rather peculiar topic for a movie, and that's what we find in 'Samtidigt på Jorden'. This carefully crafted Swedish documentary shows the behind-the-scenes of what happens after someone dies. Director Carl Olsson managed to capture something usually seen as morbid with style and lightness. Without narration, we follow all the processes of a funeral home and it's more interesting than it seems. Olsson brought a different way of building a documentary and it was a great hit."
