The world of Zeytin, a stray dog living life on the streets of Istanbul.

"The following of stray dogs as a pretext to draw an urban chronicle is not a new resource, if we take into account the 2019 documentary 'Space Dogs'. However, it is undoubtedly the feature debut of Hong Kong-born filmmaker Elizabeth Lo that has greater depth and impact. In 'Stray', street dogs are the element that will easily attract canine audiences, but this is a documentary that proposes a much more serious exploration of the contradictions of the human condition (don't expect the manipulative and artificial sentimentality of films of this type, but quite the opposite). Presented at festivals such as Hot Docs and nominated for the Independent Spirit Awards, it is a powerful (and short) documentary that invites us to see the world in a different way, while confronting us with our own morality."
