In "Shrek," we have our first contact with the green ogre who, along with a talking donkey, must face a dangerous dragon to save an apparently helpless princess. Fun and often "politically incorrect," "Shrek" knew how to revolutionize fairy tale stories in the movies, taking classic characters to the extreme of good humor and non-sense situations. Although the ogre Shrek is the soul of the film, who steals the scene is Donkey, brilliantly dubbed in the original by Eddie Murphy. It's hard not to be enchanted by the story."
