"After bringing a strong survival story in 'Arctic', filmmaker Joe Penna returns to speak about humans in extreme situations. Now, in 'Stowaway', we follow a crew (Anna Kendrick, Toni Collette and Daniel Dae Kim) on their way to Mars and who, in the middle of the journey, end up finding a surprise: a passenger (Shamier Anderson) who accidentally boarded the space voyage. From then on, the crew must find a way to survive, with too many people, in a hostile environment. Kendrick delivers the most mature performance of her career, while Collette ('Hereditary'), Dae Kim ('Lost') and Anderson ('Race') complete the claustrophobic atmosphere of the plot--with a highlight on the search for oxygen "on the other side" of the ship."
