Why watch the movie Dear John?
"Nicholas Sparks is the owner of an infinite number of romantic stories always similar and with strangely similar characters, such as 'The Notebook', 'Safe Haven', 'A Walk to Remember' and 'The Choice'. In 'Dear John', one of the audience's favorites, there is not much really different in Sparks' narrative adapted for the big screen. We follow the story of a soldier on leave who falls madly in love with a beautiful and conservative college girl, with all the predictable unfolding of a plot like this. However, the good performances of Amanda Seyfried ('Mank') and Channing Tatum ('Magic Mike') help the movie to have some differential and be memorable in its ending."
