On a hot summer day by a small lake, Mia asks Hugo, 15 years old and yet already blasé, to tell her about his love story with Chaïnes. Despite his reluctance, memories come to the surface: evenings spent at the edge of the lake trying to seduce her, or the fear felt when declaring his love.
"Short delicate film about teenage love. 'Tendre' follows three young people, Hugo, Chaïnes and Mia, and their discoveries about life. This is a very delicate and verbose film, even though it only has 43 minutes of duration it can be tiring for those who are impatient. If you want to see a sensitive and romantic story, it's a good indication. The production has beautiful photography and makes a parallel between documentary and fiction, letting you enter the narrative along with the characters. Director Isabel Pagliai was able to capture the essence of youth well."
