Why watch the movie Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles?
"Emotionally creative and appropriately surreal, this animation is an adaptation of Fermín Solís' graphic novel. 'Buñuel in the Labyrinth of Turtles' recreates the expedition that the Aragonese director undertook with his collaborators to film the life of the Extremaduran region of Las Hurdes, which would end up changing his life forever. A loving yet critical portrait of Buñuel that opens a seductive and dreamlike window into the life of a brilliant artist. It surpasses the limits of animation and documentary film, it is a cathartic cinematic experience, a closer look at a great master on an initiatory journey that would mark his cinema."
