However, it lacks a certain polish in its development for the story to stand out. The main idea has original traces and starts from an interesting point, but the script gets lost in clichés and repetitions, failing to handle its base material well. Not everything is negative, however. The cinematography stands out with well-placed and eye-catching shots, offering the movie more personality and avoiding generic visuals. Combined with it, the editing does a dynamic job, and thus the action scenes are fluid and visible, ensuring good entertainment. Gina Rodriguez ('Annihilation') carries the movie with a strong and very competent performance."
