A pair of interwoven stories, set in the past and present, follow an ambitious journalist determined to solve the mystery of a forbidden love affair at the center of a trove of secret love letters from 1965.
"Adaptation of the book 'The Last Letter from Your Lover', written by Jojo Moyes, same author of 'Me Before You'. In the story, we follow a love that breaks through time barriers through letters, found by a journalist, who becomes obsessed with finding out what happened to the couple exchanging such passionate correspondence. The plot is beautiful and very touching, but the movie's pace is extremely slow, which makes it a bit difficult to focus. However, it is one of those narratives that are worth the wait. After all, it really hooks you, making you yearn for the outcome, even though it is slow. Spoiler alert: it is worth following every second, as the ending is beautiful."
